Jergens Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer

Jergens Shea Butter Moisturizer

Don’t you hate when moisturizers leave a…slimy… sticky like texture on your hands for what feels like forever?  You know, that feeling right after you put moisturizer on.  I prefer my moisturizers to be quick absorbing, especially on my hands–I don’t like touching things when my hands feel greasy and slimy.

This moisturizer is relatively fast absorbing; I don’t think it takes a long time and every time I get distracted for a little while then think, “oh, it’s not slimy any more!”  I’ve been using this daily for about a week and a half now and I just love it.  After 5 minutes, I notice that my hands still look oily, but don’t feel oily at all.  On the container, it does say that it “deeply conditions for 3x more radiant skin” which is probably what the “oily” look that I notice is.  There is a difference between oily and radiant  It instantly moisturizes my dry hands and makes them feel nice a soft.  I do notice that if I don’t use this daily, my hands do tend to get dry again (within a day), and that you may need to apply more than once a day.  If you apply it in the morning and wash your hands throughout the day, touch various things (especially things that tend to dry your skin out), then you’re most likely going to need to reapply.

I picked this little guy up at my local Wal-Mart.  If you’re looking for something perfect for your purse and on a budget, I recommend this guy.  For $2.02, you can’t go wrong; however, I don’t think all Wal-Mart’s carry this; I could only find the full size on Wal-Mart.com.  Hopefully you guys can find it in your local store, I think you would enjoy it.

Readers, have any of you tried this brand or this hand cream before?  What are some of your favorite moisturizers?  Let me know in the comments below or on Twitter!

❤ Always,

Krysti
