I was luckily off on Friday night and it just so happened to also be Eat The Street night! Tonight’s theme was Spicy, and of course, I picked the non Spicy options. Lame, I know, but I just wasn’t feeling it.
I waited about 30 minutes for this lemonade, and I loved it. While it wasn’t crazy awesome, I loved how it was freshly squeezed lemonade. I’m super bummed its based out of Maui (a different island from where I am) and I can only find it at Farmers Markets or events like this here on Oahu. I’m completely in love with the mason jar and I think I’ll be using this quite often. You can expect to be seeing this jar in future posts!
I loved eating the burger, it was a malasada burger. A malasada is a fried sweet bun covered in sugar. Super yummy by itself, but I have to admit that the sweet and savory mix was very delicious! We also got the Red Velvet Cake Balls thing from the same vendor. Those were super yummy too!
I’m not usually a fan of macarons, but I actually really really liked the strawberry one. Absolutely loved it, however, I didn’t care for lilikoi.
Sorry for the semi junk pictures. It was really dark and I didn’t really want to use flash, and I was juggling a bunch of things in my arms. Not to mention I was already at ISO 1600 and anything higher got really grainy.
Readers, what have you been up to this weekend?
