I know I wasn’t supposed to post today, but I couldn’t help it and I just had to tell all of you about these new contacts already!
Is it weird to say that I’ve been looking at myself a lot more with these on? Come on, you have to admit, these look pretty cool, despite that maybe in the picture above, it isn’t as crazy noticeable. The entire day that I wore them I had to look at myself and admire how it looks in any reflection I came across.
These lens are from SpookyEyes.com by Dream Eyes. I’ve been wearing the Violet Sparkle Contact Lenses and I’ve been absolutely in love! My eyes tend to dry out easily with these in, but it’s nothing eye drops can’t fix. I managed to wear them a total of 10 hours before my eyes got dry and started to get irritated with having them in; my eyes tend to do that with normal contacts too… I think it’s just a matter of forcing myself to get used to them.
I’m thinking about getting the Color Vision Twilight Bella Contact Lenses for Halloween, what do you think? I think they would look “bomb-diggity.” They are the color I would so want my eyes if I were ever to be a vampire. What color would you want your eyes to be (check out their vampire range here and tell me in the comments!).
The entire time I wore them, some people had to do a double take or they would awkwardly stare at me, which I guess works too. I got quite a few compliments on the great color choice, and if I do say so myself, I was elated to see that I got these as a sample. As you can see, I left the makeup pretty simple as I wanted the focus to be on my eye, not my dramatic makeup or bold lip color. The eyeshadow colors I picked were pinks, whites, and a deeper, brown under toned, purple. And you know me, can’t go without the eyeliner and mascara.
I think that this brand is one to consider, especially with Halloween just around the corner! You should check out their website for all the different looks and colors. If you’re like me and want a more natural color, they have those as well. You can get a care kit for you contacts and it includes a case, the
Readers, let me know in the comments if you’ve ever tried color contact lenses before.
