Welcome back! Today let’s talk about a few traveling hacks. Last month I went on a trip and I used this hack to easily take a few liquids with me.
First off, let me tell you a little about my trip. I flew through Omni and check in luggage is $25 each. I debated for a bit and decided that since I was only going to be there for a few days, I didn’t need a whole lot of clothes and such so maybe I can get away with just my carry-on and personal item.
Since I skipped the check-in luggage part, that left me with a smaller suitcase to pack all things that I need for my trip. That got me thinking, “how in the world am I going to pack,” because let’s be real, I ‘need’ a lot of things.
To minimize my make-up stash I’m took, I bought contact lens cases from my local drug store. Just find the cheapest, with the amount you need. In my case, I just bought a case like this (as seen in picture above) and decided I’ll just roll with it since they don’t really go bad I can keep what I don’t use.
I use this hack for my liquids and cream products. Here I’m showing you how I do it for my moisturizers. You can also do this for your make-up like primer and foundation. Instead of you taking 2 separate bottles that you know you won’t go through during your trip, why not take less and save space? Plus after this trip, you can wash, dry, and store them for a later trip or use rubbing alcohol to take off the sharpie and re-purpose the containers.
I did this for my foundation, moisturizer, sunscreen, and face wash. I actually didn’t even end up using all of the foundation and facial moisturizer and had to continue using it when I came back.
Let me know how you pack and some of your hacks!
