You guys already know I wasn’t a fan of the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water [review here]. But I decided to try their foaming cleanser and let me tell you, I’m in love. It is affordable, I think I spent about $6 maybe?
It foams up much like foaming hand soap would. One or two pumps gets off all my makeup, including the waterproof ones. Be sure that if you use it around the eyes, that you are careful to not get it in your eyes; it will sting! You can use this day and night to clean your face, but it is also able to take off your makeup at the end of the night. Perfect.
The back of the bottle reads:
You’ll love this… Our instant Foaming Cleanser is a perfect blend of our purest possible skin-loving ingredients and multi-vitamins and helps gently eliminating impurities, clear pores, remove makeup and excess oil while maintaining the skin’s natural moisture balance. Easy to rinse and non-drying, it leaves nothing behind apart from a clean, fresh and hydrated you! See, we told you that you would love it!
I have to agree that it is really nice to use on your skin and is affordable. I especially like that it is a facial cleanser that I can double as my makeup remover and it leaves my skin feeling refreshed. I do exfoliate every other day to help remove any dead skin cells and anything else that might be left on my skin, but I do that with any other facial cleanser I use anyway. I don’t feel like it strips my skin of any moisture and my skin isn’t left feeling tight and dehydrated after.
I don’t normally break out and for the two week’s that I’ve tried this product, I haven’t broken out. I think that for my combo skin it works really well. I also don’t think it has a scent so if you don’t do well with fragrances, this will be great for you. It is made for sensitive skin, so I assume that their products wouldn’t have much of a scent as any added fragrances tend to upset people with sensitive skin.
If you’re in the market for a new cleanser like I was, and are looking for something affordable, I would recommend you to try this one out.
Till next time!
